Present Delivery

Present Delivery by Santa Max

In preparation for a Santa Max “present delivery,” information is exchanged and agreed upon. The visitation time is confirmed as the date draws near. The family usually places presents in the back seat of the family car with the door unlocked. Where and how to enter the family’s home is decided. Santa Max places the presents in a velvet Santa bag and enters the home.

A variety of scenarios have been requested. In most cases the family is all together. They hear sleigh bells outside and open the front door to find Santa Claus (aka Santa Max). Some parents have wanted a late visit where the children are asleep and are awaken by their parents saying that they hears sounds in the living room / family room… The family quietly comes to the room’s entry to find Santa placing / delivering presents under the tree. Santa is surprised and greets the family.

During the visit, a Christmas storybook maybe read and if it is a lively group, Santa Max will join in to sing Christmas carols. There is always a photo op with the family (group and individuals). The time for present deliveries is about 15 minutes. Longer visits can be arranged (see “Home Visits / Family Christmas Parties”).

The way that “late in the evening” visits started was that all the earlier times were already booked and the parents really wanted that day for the present delivery. They accepted a later in the evening time (it was about 11:00), so they woke up the children saying that there was noise in the living room… – It worked so well that several families have continued to use the late evening times for Santa’s present delivery.
